Sometimes you require a heavy duty flanged connection for your duct system. We offer both welded and vanstone style flanged duct connections in galvanized steel and stainless steel. Flanges can be standard US hole patterns or customized to fit your connection needs.
Vanstone flanged
In a vanstone flanged connection, the flange is loosely added to the pipe with the lip turned back. When two vanstoned flanged pieces are joined, the lips get pressed together making a metal to metal connection.
Welded flange
With a welded construction, the flanges are welded to the pipe. In this case the flange surface of two joining pieces mate for a connection, instead of the lip of the duct as in the vanstoned connection. Welded flanges can be constructed with intermittent or continuous welds around the flange.
